The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Tarkwa Area in the Western Region has donated GH₵15,000 to support the ongoing Abisim Prayer Camp Hostel project, an initiative aimed at improving accommodation for worshippers and visitors.
The project is being undertaken by the Ascension Ministers’ Wives Fellowship (AMWF) under the leadership of Josephine Ami-Narh. It seeks to provide decent and comfortable lodging facilities for individuals who travel to the Abisim Prayer Camp for prayers, retreats, and spiritual engagements.
The financial contribution was officially presented during the dedication ceremony of the Tarkwa Area District Mission House at the Chapel Square District Auditorium.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the congregation, the Area Superintendent, Prophet Alexander Cudjoe, reaffirmed the Area’s commitment to the project. He pledged continued support until the hostel facility is fully completed.
The Abisim Prayer Camp serves as a major spiritual hub for members of The Apostolic Church-Ghana and other Christian believers. The construction of the hostel is expected to significantly improve the comfort and overall experience of visitors, especially those who travel long distances for spiritual activities.
The initiative by the AMWF highlights the growing role of church-based organizations in supporting infrastructure development within faith communities.
The Tarkwa Area’s generous donation marks a significant step forward in the realization of the Abisim Prayer Camp Hostel project. It also reflects a strong spirit of unity and collective responsibility within The Apostolic Church-Ghana, as members continue to contribute towards the growth and development of the church.
