TAC-GH, Kwahu Ridge Zone donates to Blessed Children’s Home in Nkwatia

The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Kwahu Ridge Zone of the Kwahu Area, has extended support to the Blessed Children’s Home as part of its social responsibility efforts.
The donation took place on Friday, 1st May 2026, at Nkwatia-Kwahu.
Items presented included bags of rice, crates of eggs, boxes of cooking oil, boxes of biscuits, tomato paste, mackerel, sugar, toiletries, clothing, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Speaking at the event, the Area Women’s Leader for the Kwahu Ridge Zone, Deaconess Joyce Bamfo, noted that the gesture was timely as the nation marks Workers’ Day. She expressed the church’s belief that the children will grow to become responsible and productive citizens who will contribute meaningfully to national development.
Delivering a short exhortation, Pastor Mark Ampah-Asabir, Obo District Pastor, encouraged both the children and caregivers with a message from John 14:18, assuring them of God’s presence and care. He emphasized that the church’s visit symbolized God reaching out to them, and urged the caregivers to trust in God’s continuous provision.
The District Pastor for Abetifi, Pastor Owusu Asiedu, offered prayers for the management of the home, the children, and the church.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Kwahu Area Superintendent and the entire Apostolic family, Lady Elizabeth Owusu Asiedu highlighted the biblical call to support orphans and widows, referencing James 1:27, and reaffirmed the church’s commitment to showing practical love through such donations.
A representative of the home received the items with gratitude, thanking God and the church for their kindness. Three of the children also offered prayers for the church and all present.
Members of the delegation were later taken on a tour of the facility, including the children’s dormitories.
Management of the Blessed Children’s Home used the occasion to appeal to the church and the general public for continued support, particularly financial assistance, to help cater for children currently in senior high and tertiary institutions.
