Church demonstrates Christ’s love through generosity and community outreach
The The Apostolic Church-Ghana, Oforikrom Central Assembly in the Ashanti Region, has extended support to the less privileged through a donation to the Ashan Children’s Home in Offinso, alongside assistance to vulnerable members within the church.
The initiative, which took place during a church service on Sunday, April 19, 2026, formed part of the Assembly’s commitment to demonstrating the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness and generosity.
As part of the outreach, children from the Ashan Children’s Home were hosted during the church service, where they fellowshipped with the congregation.
The church presented a variety of items, including food supplies, toiletries, clothing, and other essential materials. In addition, a cash donation of GH₵8,000 was made to support the upkeep and welfare of the children at the facility.
The outreach by the Oforikrom Central Assembly highlights the vital role of faith-based organisations in supporting vulnerable groups within society. Through acts of kindness and generosity, the church continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
